Song 41

Song 41

I love you as a poet loves
Rising quickly between
Words

To
Kiss
Your
Lips

Till
U
Feel
&
Yearn

Sense
&
Burn

Till
Doors
Unhinge

&
The
Flame
Gets
In

Till
You sigh with delight

In
Soft
Moon
Light

Where the love wind blows
In the heart of the

Rose

6/1/13

Whakapapa:  written in the voice of love. After I finished the poem I came across these lines in a poem by Jalaluddin Rumi.

Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find
all the barriers within yourself
that you have built against it.

Jalaluddin Rumi

May the barriers be found: May the barricades come down: May Love abound.
