Song 16
Song 16
To release the thousand anchors
That
Hold
The Red Ship
Of
Your
Life
In the barnacled grip of fierce constraint
To
Allow –Allow – Allow
The
Unfolding
Wink
Of
Pink
Desire
The
Golden
Core
Of
Sure
Arousal
To
Give – Give – Give
Your budding life
Loving
Permission
To
Become
Its
Own
Blossoming
Self
Is
To
Enter – Enter – Enter
The yoga of choice
3/06/12
I wrote this in cabin 4 of the Lake Brunner Motor Camp, Moana, on the West Coast. To give oneself permission to choose can be extremely difficult. Personal history & conditioning can fiercely inhibit ‘the yoga of choice’. To enter ‘the yoga of choice’ is to listen to the desires of the body, the deep feelings of the soul, the thoughts of the mind and the leading of your Holy Spirit. As I dozed this morning, mind wandering my own ‘yoga of choice’, my Holy Spirit suddenly flashed a billboard in front of my eyes: ‘choose around ideas!’ (3/6/12). ‘Big ideas’ especially around identity & destiny can anchor the soul. The pink & the gold imagery are from the Self. The Voice once said to me; ‘Don’t you know the pink embraces the yellow?’ (i.e. the feminine embraces the masculine 10/4/12.) I dedicate this poem to my loving & permission-giving soul friends who support me in ‘the yoga of choice’.
