Kia ora / greetings: I am new to the world of blogging. As a poet I enjoy solitude. Solitude nurses my writing & enables me to connect with soul & spirit. I am also a ‘people person’ who enjoys connecting with others on similar journeys. I am hopeful as I enter this new online world that it will bring about connections with people who are drawn, as I am, to poetry as a source of inspiration and transformation. I remember one of Denise Levertov’s wonderful poems where she speaks of ‘a community of solitaries’. I like that; & suspect, as I experiment in this brave new blogging world, that community is part of what I am seeking.
